[ARCHIVED] Storm Issues from 9/1/21

Several flood prone areas of town were impacted badly overnight as the brook rose rapidly. 

Residents were evacuated. 

OEM is currently assessing all areas of town that have been flooded. 

Life safety is our first priority. Assessing and securing utilities is part of that. 

The Borough will do all that it can to assist you while we are working through this event. 

If you need immediate assistance please call 911.

Our staff is currently out and about engaged in these assessments and will get back to you as soon as they can. 

Reverse 911 messages will be used to communicate as necessary. 

To report a gas leak or other hazardous condition, leave the area and get to a safe location 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) or call the emergency line at 1800-880-PSEG(7734).

Suez water trucks are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week if you need help please call 1-800-446-8004.
